Dirndl Dress Handsewn with Steelbone Corset, Petticoat, Skirt, Blouse, Apron, Necklace, Stockings

Hi again with another unique dirndl. This time I decided for Indian cotton, pink with printed circles that dominate the skirt, and which appear as pink circles on black on the corset. Let’s start from the beginning. Usual dirndl-blouse, made of cotton, in size L, white. A violet-white petticoat, then an adjustable skirt with drawstring closing, that also makes it possible for girls of various sizes to wear it. The skirt is 68cm long and has black trimming with tiny sparkly pailletes. Corset comes over blouse, petticoat and skirt. It’s decorated with antique Bavarian metal buttons (with Bavarian coat of arms as relief) over which a decorative front lacing looks very nice. The corset closes both from front and laces from the back, like XIX century corsets, and as well has metal and baleen boning. Finally we are coming to the apron, made of white polyester satin, with a layer of embroidered tulle over it. After the apron is tied, there is a cute brooch that goes at the waist, like a buckle. The whole look is layered (historical), traditional and modern at the same time with choosing patterns and colours, but still along the same silhouette and symbols of Oktoberfest (heart shaped pendant on the necklace, etc.). To complete the look, I’m enclosing a pair of white cotton overnknee stockings with Bavarian symbols. The important fact: This dirndl as well is adjusted to fit sizes from 38 to 42 – the blouse, corset, petticoat and skirt are adjustable.
