The garments are created from beautiful viscose blankets woven in the Punjab in northern India. We then sew them up in Jaipur where we have a small team of four full-time employees who work exclusively for us. They are paid a monthly salary and get paid the same amount every month whether we sell one garment or 20. They also have paid leave and our office is set up in a three-story building which is actually meant for housing. This is a warm and cosy working environment and there is nothing in our production chain that reminds us of a “factory” which we are proud of. The maxi cardigan is slightly longer than our original cardigan and it also has a straight cut along the chest panels. With rather long and wide sleeves it creates a luxurious and elegant look.
